Eureka A.I. and Computer Science Program Overview

To participate in this program, participants must successfully complete the Eureka Program Research Topic 101 course before enrolling in any group or one-on-one research workshops

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as recognizing speech, making decisions, and solving problems. AI technology involves machine learning algorithms, neural networks, natural language processing, and other advanced techniques that enable machines to learn from experience and improve their performance over time.

Data science is a field that combines statistics, computer science, and domain expertise to extract insights and knowledge from data. It involves collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting large and complex data sets to generate actionable insights and inform decision-making.

Computer, AI and Data Science majors have a diverse range of career opportunities available to them, including positions in software engineering, quantitative trading, consulting, and more.

Previous Alumni of the AI, Computer and Data Science Program have secured positions and acceptances to the following firms/programs:

  • Investment Banking Summer Analyst – Morgan Stanley

  • Investment Banking Summer Analyst – Bank of America Merill Lynch

  • Strategy Consulting – Fervo Energy

  • INSIGHT Program – Jane Street

Eureka Alumni from this program have received admission offers to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), Duke University, Carnegie Mellon University, and other top US universities. Alumni from this program have gone off to pursue studies in  Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, and other majors.

Many students that have participated in this program also participated in famous competitions and received multiple awards, such as National Semifinalist at the Technovation Challenge, USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) Gold Division, National AP Scholar, American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) Qualifier, and MIT Math Prize for Girls Qualifier.

In addition, we are proud to see students in this program actively participating in the community,  volunteering where possible.  Several of our students have founded non-profit organizations to help their local community. 1 student was the Head of the SAP Autism Volunteer Team. Another student volunteered her spare time at the Girls in Computing Club.
