Eureka Technology and Engineering Program Overview

To participate in this program, participants must successfully complete the Eureka Program Research Topic 101 course before enrolling in any group or one-on-one research workshops

If so, the Eureka Technology and Engineering Program offers an exciting opportunity to explore the fundamental principles and practices of these rapidly evolving fields. Technology and engineering have played a significant role in human advancement throughout history, from the wheel to the internet. In today's world, they are more critical than ever, shaping nearly every aspect of our lives. Students in this program will gain a comprehensive understanding of the theories and methodologies used in technology and engineering, as well as practical skills needed to excel in these fields. Eureka Alumni from this program have received admission offers to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Yale University, Cornell University, NYU Tandon School of Engineering, University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), University of Chicago, and other top US universities. Alumni from this program have gone off to pursue studies in  Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, and other majors. 


The research experience and skills students receive at the Eureka Program have helped students get accepted to prestigious programs such as the Stanford Summer Humanities Institute,  the Summer Research Mentorship Program, UC Santa Barbara, and the Brown University X+VR Summer Program. Several students that have completed this program have also participated in famous competitions, such as the Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS).

 

In addition, we are proud to see students in this program actively participating in the community,  volunteering where possible.  Several of our students have founded non-profit organizations to help their local community. Two siblings that attended this program have started a non-profit organization helping to promote cultural awareness for children in their local communities by providing their local libraries with a wider range of cultural children's books. Another student volunteered his spare time during the COVID-19 pandemic to  collect and donate face masks to her community.
